Ikiru Shipping and Returns

In keeping with Ikiru’s goal of ensuring User satisfaction, this cancellation, return and refund Policy sets out procedures and policies in accepting:

Cancellation

  1. You can cancel your order within 12 hours of placing the order on the website. Send an email to care@ikiru.in to cancel your order, the mail must contain the name of the product and the order ID along with a reason for cancellation

Once the cancellation request is received and processed by us, the order will be canceled and the refund will be credited to your original payment mode within 7-10 business days.

Terms of Return and Refund

In the odd case that you are not satisfied with any product, here is our policy on returns:

Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.

You can find the return policy of each product under the Easy Returns section on the product page.

  1. Eligible products can only be returned within 2 days after the delivery date. For return, please submit details here.

  2. Not all products are eligible for returns. However eligible for Exchange, within 2 days of delivery In the unlikely event that the products arrives damaged, defective, wrong item delivered to you. Please reach out to our team at the earliest at care@ikiru.in

  3. Unfortunately, we will not be able to consider any return request sent 48 hours after the delivery.

  4. For products that are eligible for return, please make sure we will be able to process the refund only if the product is received in original condition along with the tags and packaging. We offer an “easy return policy”, and accept partial returns wherein you can raise a return request for one or all products in your order.

  5. The IKIRU Care team must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is received and approved, we will arrange for a return pick up at an agreed upon time. Once your return has been authorized, we'd be happy to process your refund.

  6. All returns are subject to the discretion of IKIRU. But we're a friendly bunch :)

The following are the conditions for all returns:

  1. Please note that the shipping charges for the return would be paid by the buyer. Shipping charges on return -
    1. Below 3kg: Rs 250
    2. 4kg-7kg: Rs 500
    3. 7kg-10 kg: 750
    4. Beyond 10kg: depends on case to case.
    Once the package is received and approved by the seller, a refund equal to the product value minus shipping charges will be initiated. Please note that the COD Convenience Fee is non-refundable.
    Our return policy considers the weight of individual product in the order, not the total order weight.
  2. Our handcrafted products may exhibit slight variations in texture, color, and size, which are inherent to their handmade nature. These natural discrepancies should not be viewed as defects. We encourage our customers to appreciate the individuality of each piece, as our artisans meticulously craft them, making each one unique.
  3. Our return policy does not extend to bulk or customized orders, as these are specifically made or ordered in large quantities, making individual returns impractical. We may deal them on case to case basis.
  4. If the seller does not receive the product in its original condition, the loss of value would be paid by the buyer.
  5. If the buyer fails to return the package in 2 attempts of pickup from our delivery partner, the return will be canceled. Ensure to provide the photos of the product and packaging to Ikiru via email or WhatsApp before handing it over to the delivery service.
  6. Your refund will be processed in 3-5 business days, after it is received and approved by the seller.
  7. For Prepaid orders the refund can be processed through the source. In case of COD orders, the following details would be required for bank transfer:
  • Bank Account Number
  • IFSC Code
  • Account Holder's Name
  • Bank Branch
  • Bank Name

Return Process

  1. Raise A Return Request

Raise a return request by filling up the below form. Please attach 2-3 clear photographs of the item in question. Below are the guidelines to follow while taking the photographs.

1-2 images should clearly show the entire product and 1-2 images zoomed-in on the damaged/defective area such that the relevant concern is visible.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to consider any emails or images sent after 48 hours of the delivery.

Once your return request is reviewed and approved by Ikiru, you need to pack the product in its original packaging and stick a return slip on it (Provided by Ikiru).

      2. Evaluate and Pick-Up

Once we receive the images, Ikiru team will connect with you within 24 hours.

The return requests are evaluated by the Ikiru customer experience team in consultation with the merchant. Please note that the resolution or return pick-up will be provided on the basics of return issue.

A product scheduled for return pick-up will be picked up by the logistic partner of the Brand/Merchant from the original shipping address of the order.

 

Shipping

We understand that receiving your order in a timely and hassle-free manner is important to you.  We have designed our shipping policy to ensure a seamless delivery experience. Dispatch details of the products will vary from product to product and depending upon the location, the product is delivered to you in 3-8 workings days after it has been dispatched from the vendor. For better understanding dispatch details are mentioned on product pages

  • Ikiru provides free shipping on all prepaid orders.
  • The user will be provided with the shipping details as and when the product is shipped.
  • The delivery partner will make 3 attempts to deliver, delivery fees will be charged in case of re-delivery.

 

Cash on Delivery

We give the option of Cash on Delivery on orders with an order value of Rs.2000 or lesser. Rs 80 will be additional charges in case of Cash on delivery orders.

 

Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, the Airway Bill Number (AWB no.) and our courier partner's name will be sent to you via text message/email/Whatsapp. Please visit the courier partner's website and enter the AWB number we have shared with you in the relevant form to track the current location of your shipment and the expected date of delivery.
